FAST FORWARD DANCE & TWIRL

The Fast Forward Dance Team was founded in 2008 to give our dancers additional performance opportunities. In 2016, Fast Forward expanded to add a Twirl Team. We currently have four teams- Jr Twirl, Jr Dance, A Twirl and Open Dance.

Fast Forward competes in the Tournament Indoor Association contests that are held at local high schools from January through April each year. The teams also attend the annual All Chapter Championships competition in Wildwood, NJ every spring.

Throughout the years our teams have won numerous medals and brought home several championship banners. Our 2017 junior dance team currently holds the record high score, 99.46, of any performing unit at the ACC. And in 2022, we had a remarkable season that ended with gold medals and championship banners for all four teams (Fast Forward A Dance, Jr Dance, A Twirl and Jr Twirl).

In addition to the competition season, our dancers have had the opportunity to take classes in NYC, attend twirl camp with world champion instructors and form friendships that will last a lifetime.

We invite you to attend our annual home show (2024 date tbd) to see a special performance by the Joy School Beginner, Intermediate and Junior twirlers and to cheer on our teams!
